Project:    

Design proposals for the complete refurbishment of this three storey semi-detached period property included: the improvement of circulation between ground, first and second floor levels and the design of a fully glazed extension at ground floor level to accommodate living, dining and kitchen area in a dramatic column free space to take advantage of the property’s breath-taking views across Scotsman’s Bay to Dalkey Island and beyond.

 

At first floor level and to further exploit the property’s southerly aspect and expansive sea views, the proposal incorporates French doors to access terraced area extending over the proposed extension below.

 

Proposed modifications to floor plans increase both functionality and accessibility at all levels and a calm and sophisticated aesthetic has been created with the proposed retention of period details that complement the select use of modern materials. The proposed design provides a comprehensive solution tailored to both client requirements and modern day living.
